Podcasting with Pink Cloud
After booking a session with us, our coordinator will reach out to get a few important details, including the number of participants for your recording, and the room configuration you prefer (ie couch vs table), so that the space is perfectly set up for you to come in and begin creating! Upon arrival, the engineer we provide will help get you perfectly situated, go over any special requests or equipment training necessary, and then give you the green light! At the end of your session, we will upload all files to a hard-drive, thumb stick, SD card or cloud drive of your choice.
Starting a Podcast
When beginning a podcast, there are a few major elements to consider for a successful launch, so making decisions early on about set up, video, distribution, and schedule is paramount.
Consider how many hosts will be present, and whether that may change from episode to episode, or whether you’ll want to bring guests in - physically or digitally.
YouTube is a must-have point of consumption - but you can choose to have video recordings or an audio file attached to cover art for your ‘video’ podcast.
Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, and other platforms do NOT store your podcast in their data banks; you must maintain an account with a podcast distribution service such as Buzzsprout, Podbean, or Anchor to get your podcasts where folks can access them.
